Being illiterate about computer stuff, and being agog about all things equestrian, I decided on a course in computer security after hearing it involved 'trojan horse' exercises, and ended up with such ennui after the completely cerebral first lecture, that I dropped out of that course then and there. It seems to me that some harmless-seeming idea I was exposed to in the last few months was actually a cerebral Trojan horse that is slowly destroying my brain from the inside as I write this -- I can come up with no other explanation for my rapid oscillation between feeling agog with excitement on the weekends and so full of ennui during the week. Our substitute professor's cerebral lecture in Representational Painting 101 left none of us agog (in fact it filled us with ennui) but we were aghast when we learned that he was a Trojan horse, planted by students in Subversive Conceptual Art 101 as part of their class project to teach us faulty rules of perspective.
