Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

When he could not persuade the soul of the battle-crushed behemoth to separate from its friable flesh, the crafty psychopomp applied a bait and switch technique, appearing to the giant warrior in the form of the warrior's own mother, beckoning him home for pie only to lead him to Judgement. (by Rudi)

Emotionally friable, and still clutching his dismissal notice, he was briskly escorted to the employees' door of the supermarket behemoth, where Jones of security, assuming the role of caustic psychopomp, leered at him and said: 'Let's face it, chum - you were a dead man walking once your bait-and-switch technique failed to shift the truffles after the supposed 'mushroom blight' unexpectedly struck, so this life has nothing to offer you, or you it - bye.' (by Et Seqq)

The man lay silently, alone but composed, sifting one last time through life's friable memories, aware of the dark psychopomp beginning to dance in the edges of his vision, whose dusty voice incanted that ancient bait and switch: "Give me thine essence, and ye shall feel the rest of a thousand ages, content and secure in His behemoth embrace!" The Lee Circle Ripper never thought of herself as a murderer, but rather as a psychopomp (in the tradition of the Valkyries perhaps, guiding people to a well-deserved afterlife, often to the accompaniment of fair amount of blood and what you might call battle cries), taking particular joy in "guiding" those whose greed and stupidity, combined with a certain friableness of ethical framework, disposed them to fall readily for her classic bait-and-switch, wherein the lure of riches suddenly turned into a deathtrap, an offer they couldn't refuse, especially after they first laid eyes on her, whose behemoth shadow enveloped them as she lumbered into the room and invariably prompted them to give her most of their money, although it was often touch-and-go to see if they could write the check before they died. At the border between heaven and hell Montegut, once known as the behemoth of Wall Street, naturally got into the heaven line but his personal psychopomp, who introduced himself as Charon, said there was no need to wait and dazzled and betrayed the spiritually bankrupt financier with an exquisite bait and switch that reduced his porous and friable soul to dusty sweepings easily transported to the bowels of hell.
