Sigmoid Frund studied 'sign waves' of brains ("Peristalsis ? Alimentary !", he deigns); he knew tricks by the dozen played by those who would cozen, teeming tales of their sexual strains. (by Justinnthyme40)

As soon as I shared one of my hand-picked mushrooms (just a humble champignon, I think) with the teeming goose population at Fool's Pond, I did suspect my eyes were cozening me, but it's true: the many birds took flight at once, assuming a great sigmoid formation and, I do not lie, sending waves of contraction through the line of their giant, ethereal S – a most perfect aerial rendition of peristalsis that was only marred for me as a spectator when the byproducts started to land. On Saturday night, when the emergency room was teeming with victims of gunshot and stab wounds, a young man was brought in by his father with what turned out to be a thrombosis in the sigmoid sinus (a curved trough in the brain behind the ear) which the father said was the result of a fall down some stairs, but Dr. Celia Wilkins had been cozened by parents before and suspected that the father had left out the part where he struck the boy on the side of the head with a stone or something similar, and she began to experience the familiar, unpleasant gastro-intestinal symptoms of fear - a leaden feeling in her stomach and strong peristaltic waves lower down - especially when she glimpsed a large handgun tucked into the father's waistband. My Dearest Mama, Herr Wagner - that's right, the famous composer - well, yesterday afternoon he gave us all an extended medley of very pretty stage tunes, playing on the magnificent Estey parlor organ recently presented to him, but, and I cozen you not, Mama, Father (being at heart more of a Brahmsian) soon lost patience with such a 'teeming brain' (you see, I haven't quite forgotten my Keats!) telling me that, as a medical man, the endless treadle pumping was reminding him of nothing so much as post-prandial peristalsis, with the outpouring of glorious sound the noxious excretions of the sigmoid colon - all of which quite put me off my wurst at dinner, I can tell you, With Much Love, Ernestine.
