On my recent trip to Jerez I became enamored of a certain gitana, the depth of whose “cante jondo” I deeply admired, but when I attempted to felicitate her on her profound charisma (vocal and otherwise), I soon found myself being transfenestrated through the shuttered window of the intimate “peña flamenca” by an inflamed gitano who introduced himself to me as her deeply offended marido. "It is now thought that the Romany people in Spain, the Gitanos, migrated thither from India in the eleventh century, " said the alluring Professor Pantoja to his rapt female students, who were scarcely able to contain their impatience to hear what would come next (the fascinating, charismatic Prof. Pantoja and gypsies! in the same afternoon! how romantic!!), several of them remembering that the last time something this exciting happened at Wellesley was when the Dean of Admissions' lover threw a letter-wrapped brick through a window she didn't know was closed into the waiting room of what was now called Transfenestration Hall in memory of the event, and wondering whether this evening would be a felicitous time to try the same manoeuvre at the professor's house. At 2:30am, unsteadily ambulating arm-in-arm, the drunk gitana and her beau didn’t receive well the man who abruptly (by free fall) thudded onto the sidewalk before them – him, equally bibulous, grunting profanities at the fist-shaking perps of his transfenestration 16 feet above - “Hmmm, not very sociable,” judged the gypsies, “felicitations thin and the charisma of melted ice cream,” as they barely maneuvered the glass shards. Before transfenestrating a pushy gitana whose Romany charisma has left you cold, despite her discount clothes pegs and clairvoyant felicitations on untold wealth, do check with your insurer that you are covered for glass breakage. (by Et Seqq)

Mark was stricken with surprise, becoming the engineer of his own demise, by taking that soothsaying gypsy's advice - or "gitana," the rather bizarre word she preferred - on his aluminium wedding; apparently it was not an appropriate anniversary felicitation, to across marital boundaries be treading, by sending a charismatic invitation, resulting in his and his wife's sister's bedding, he realized while his limbs transfenestrated, pondering why the present was not apt, pondering the mess "trying new things" had created: perhaps she had wanted it gift-wrapped?
