Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Would a pusillanimous but perhaps prideful retreat be exposed if a bigger “bird in the hand is worth two in the bush” was a sighted course “self-chosen” – such as the stakes of deferred gratification from protracted graduate education – in order to batten on the greater potential rewards from such, or is that, more humbly, just a protracted morph of an other-worldly fingering by predestinarianism? Call it 'pusillanimous predestinarianism' if you will (you shameless logophile, you!), but I somehow just knew that God had guided me when I eventually desisted from attempting to ensnare the flighty affections of scrumptious Cynthia and voluptuous Valerie, and instead battened on the immediately available, dourly responsive Joanna, for, as it is written, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. My investment motto 'a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush', may be considered too conservative, or even a bit pusillanimous, by some, but when I cashed out early while others continued to batten with Madoff for years, it was a decision which, at the risk of sounding like a predestinarian, I can only ascribe to God Almighty's benign plan to bestow his grace upon my portfolio, including, but not limited to, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, real estate, precious metals, ag futures, forex, options, CDS's, ETF's etc. (by Sami)

"A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush," came the mocking sneer of that pusillanimous preacher of predestinarianism, the Reverend Horace Druthers, as he gingerly plucked the carrier-pigeon from young Timmy Bottoms' startled hands and ushered the disappointed six-year-old out the rectory's side door (for the Reverend, it was said, had amassed a sizeable aviary by battening himself on the confiscated birds of his less wary parishioners).
