Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

I'd come with the kids specially to see old Charlie the Chimp once again, swinging from the rigging like a swashbuckling Errol Flynn in some Ruritanian romance of the seven seas, and I was growing quite misty-eyed and wistful at the prospect; but what should lope into the ring but some fungible creature that really had none of Charlie's charisma, so I bawled out the girl back at the box-office, and she in turn immediately bellowed 'Hey Rube!' - which somehow seemed to bring all the circus hands running, armed with cudgels. In my dream, I was transported to what looked at first like a Ruritanian paradise, a land inhabited by the lustful and the nubile, but this heaven was in the end fungible, the beautiful women turned into mean clowns and bearded freaks, our slow-motion dance degenerated into a terrible hey rube and I awoke suddenly to my screeching alarm clock for another wistful day at the office. During the disastrous hey rube of 1968, in which 63 Chicago citizens were killed by a vindictive band of homicidal circus performers (including three clowns, twenty-two gun-toting midgets, and a giant), someone began playing the song "Hey Jude" from atop a nearby building--the idea being that "hey rube" and "Hey Jude" were fungible--but this wistful melody, no doubt intended to soothe the warring masses, only inflamed their anger; and things might have gone ill had not the Ruritanian ambassador, a happy grin on his plump face, come floating out of the sky in a bright orange parachute, stark naked but for the tiny balloon fastened tactfully to his yarbles, and by the very fact of his astonishing appearance brought the deadly conflict to an end.
