Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

At the preacher's every pecksniffian intimation of their faith's incomparable succour of the needy, those gentry comfortably ensconced in the box pews, the same parishioners who at home would keen like banshees at the serialised demise of a fictional waif, chimed in complacently right on cue, like some well-drilled theatre claque repurposing its wordly hurrahs to pious laudation, while taking ever firmer hold of their purse strings.

The "welcoming claque," assembled by the pecksniffian Cyrus McGoon in anticipation of the advent of the goddess Ériu, had to be hastily repurposed into a "booing squad" when it became disappointingly clear that a banshee, and not the expected goddess, had materialized.

When Christina chose a career as a banshee, it never occurred to her that her appearance as a harbinger of death may be an unwelcome sight to the many families she visited and, being of a sensitive nature, she resolved to repurpose her image by sending forward her own enthusiastic claque and others of her pecksniffian acolytes.
