Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

Thanks to my enviable prowess in jujitsu I was able to still a babel of indignant expostulations with but one swift, penetrating glance, thereafter continuing to entertain the assembly of phocine roly-poly matrons with an unhurried resumption of my favourite extended shaggy-dog story of how, thanks to my enviable prowess in jujitsu, with but one fleet, piercing glance I had once muted a babel of expostulations from an assembly of outraged jelly-belly biddies - whom as I recall I was inclined to characterise as - now what is the mot juste? ah, yes, phoque me, I have it . . .  phocine.

The big babel in Hollywood right now is about Steven Seagal's latest film, Seal of Disapproval, a shaggy-dog tale about a harbor seal named Quigley who learns jujitsu, and then joins forces with Seagal in hunting down the leaders of a West African drug cartel; but Quigley's phocine martial arts skills falter in the hot African sun, and Seagal must carry two massive tanks of water on his back at all times, to spray his partner with moisture when the seal begins drying out; and this awkward apparatus hampers the action star's own mobility.
