Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

Coming up for the third time I felt vortically challenged by the maelstrom's ineluctable downdraft, but being inured to adversity I took to chaffering with the Almighty, who, I was soon to learn, shared my futilitarian view of life.

After enduring three bankruptcies in his career a motivational speaker, Mr. Brightside finally became inured to failure and, in subsequent months of aimless chaffering with fellow unemployed wastrels encountered on park benches, he developed a series of pithy lectures on the virtues of futilitarianism which he is now offering to all passers-by at no charge. Inured to Hormsley's futilitarian tactics, I rejected his "vortical model" of the future (in which humanity spirals, screaming, down a sort of immense cosmic toilet), and began a sort of existential chaffering, in which I was prepared to concede the existence of a cosmic toilet, so long as he would admit the possibility that its flushing mechanism might be the old-fashioned kind (with the chain you pull from above), and that, being thus hopelessly out-of-date, it might well malfunction--thus saving humanity at the last moment.
