Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

I couldn't help but giggle at the amount of proclitics used as the two old penurious ladies kibitzed away, saying " 'twas only a small stone in the ring, and  'twasn't worth but about the price of an apple, but 'tis true that he stupidly paid a small fortune for it!"

'Just t'other day', he said (and how I relished the economical vernacular proclitic!) 'I were sat there quietly supping a pint, like, when who rolls in but Sammy G. Oldstein Jr wanting to kibitz at all and sundry about his latest trades; but when he got on to naked shorting I can tell you I were all ears' (whereupon I noted and, yes, relished the synecdochial colloquialism!).

Whether you use the colloquial "I adjust" or the more formal, proclitic "j'adoube", the result is the same: you are allowed to change the penurious placement of your pieces, and scowl at the kibitzers while doing so.
