Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

The story begins with the squawks of our fledgling hero who refuses to eat, and the sighs of his nanny whose own dinner is delayed; whatever we conclude about subsequent events in the hero's mysterious and sometimes bewildering life, it is irrefragable that if his caretaker had committed preprandial infanticide as her urge then dictated, the plot's arc would not quite have spanned a roman-fleuve. (by Rudi)

In volume sixteen of his seemingly interminable roman-fleuve, the author has committed the irrefragable error of ascribing a postprandial infanticide (of Jean-Francois, the great-great-grandson of Pierre-Michel) to the ingestion of a petite madeleine laced with strychnine, when in volume three he had informed us that the child found strychnine unpalatable and, besides, partook of such cakes only preprandially.
