Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

For years no worse than a gadabout and social butterfly, over time Wayne adapted his mindset to a treasonous perspective, after viciously stubbing his hallux on the Statue of Liberty one day and then blaming the United States for it; and from that day on, Wayne's descent to the status of full-on quisling was only a matter of time, so that few of us were surprised to hear he'd facilitated the invasion of scores of militant Canadians into North Dakota.

On my last visit to the podiatrist he told me that I was suffering from toe arthritis - Hallux rigidus to be specific - adding that I would now have to adapt to a more sedentary way of life, for my days as a quisling gadabout were over . . . and, you know, it still bothers me quite how he had learnt about my covert operations as an itinerant enemy collaborator.
