Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

Reechy Spelunk & His Fusty Duckboards was the oddly-named act of 19th-century cave explorer/performance artist Bernard "Reechy" Spelunk (nee Smelbury), who first introduced the unorthodox use of stale, moldy, slatted boardwalk flooring in scaling cavern walls in 1869; but while Reechy (who got his nickname because he was wont to emerge from caves--and especially from mines--smoky, dirty, and rancid) is noted as a pioneer in the "duckboarding" technique, no other spelunker ever followed his lead, because (to quote one noted commentator) "'twas an idiotic idea."
