Sarah caressed her tummy where the new baby fat was accumulating, realizing that the bulge would soon be noticeable and her condition would be educed by any and all, and the evil overlords – they who had contaminated everything that was pure and good in the world – would try to eliminate her, fearing that an unauthorized child might be the chosen one, the paladin who would finally rescue his people from their oppressors.

Damn it, you've contaminated my mythos by educing that my paladin--my hero, my knight, my valiant champion!--still retains a cherubic layer of baby fat: a fact which seriously undermines the stoic, manly, chiseled image I was trying to evoke.
