Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

The plenum of California legislators was assembled to hear testimony related to the petrology of the coastline for purposes of expanding into new oil drilling sites, but nearly all of the members suffered a similar visceral reaction when a video was shown during the exegesis of the report prepared by USGS regarding dangers inherent in proceeding with the project, which featured struggling animals and beaches covered in tarry goo from a major spill.

I was deep into Rutger "Hootie" Buntlebaum's lucid and informative exegesis of Mork Feldman's Petrology: The Study of the Origin, Composition and Structure of Rock, in which Feldman puts forth his intriguing theory of "visceral cavities" (i.e. subterranean cave formations), when all at once my study was rudely shattered by the thunderous impact of a hand upon my desk; and looking up startled, I saw Senator Leghorn glowering down at me (with the other 98 members of the plenum looking none-too-pleased, either); and in his booming Southern drawl he said, "Why...I say, why don't you put down that long-haired book, boy, and...I say, and join us!"
