Making decisions toot sweet, ad-lib and on the spot was considered his specialty ('Benny the Blitzkrieg'), but when it came to CEOs and pretty sylphs Ben turned into a rash-thinking logomaniac, who couldn't say Hello without some verbose and roundabout addendum.

In a rash and poorly-designed, albeit pedantic, manner, Dan thought to himself, "Although I cannot draw or paint impressively, perhaps using fancy five-dollar words about incunabulum, or other forms of antiquated literature, will woo the well-read, sylph-like enchantress and prove the ability, nay the agility of my wit" and intended to implement his plan toot sweet, not wanting to miss even a moment's affection but alas, he went in such a roundabout way using his esoteric verbiage that she had become (or admittedly, remained) uninterested.

As my head slipped below the surface of the water, with my “cement overshoes” dragging me down to the bottom of the river to “rest with the fishies” -- and the bald tires, beer cans, and assorted other discards, my life flashed before my eyes, and I reconsidered (too late) my rash decision to liberate that lovely sylph daughter of Bugsy Fowler who smiled at me so sweetly every morning in the servants’ dining area of the kitchen when she came down to fetch the coffee pot, and why I ever thought that an escape from an overbearing father and criminal mastermind could be pulled off in such a roundabout fashion -- as if he’d really believe she needed my help carrying her packages when she went shopping -- but I couldn’t bear to hear him bellow at her one more time, “Another beer, girl – toot sweet!”.
