You have inquired about the deferential treatment bestowed upon me by my mentor at the firm, so I must relate that during the germinal months of my employment at Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe, my boss suffered from the foible of being a bit too handsy with me, but pace those who would believe his harrowing tale of suffering a deep laceration to the right forearm after walking past a seedy bar late at night and having a man attack him from the shadows with a knife, the truth is that he was unaware of my prowess with a saber or that the Samurai sword atop the credenza in my office was no mere ornamentation, and however tempted I may have been, I did not want to sever a vital part of the man’s anatomy, and merely struck him with the foible.

Pace my disgruntled female former employees, your honor, I do not have a tendency to get "handsy" on the job--if anything, I fall into precisely the opposite foible: I'm much too "hands off," when maybe what I need to be is a bit more "touchy-feely," especially in the germinal stage of an employee's development, when certain parts of her anatomy cry out for tactile reassurance (be it in the form of a pat on the tuchus, a well-timed squeeze, or an affirming pinch) that yes, she is doing a good job, and that gosh darn it, she can do this.

In the germinal period of Stark McMannerson's golf stardom, just after his abandonment of his professional wrestling career, the former heavyweight champion's handsy style led to numerous foibles on the green; however, pace the commentators who said he might do better if he could hit the ball with a chair, McMannerson knew from his tarot readings that his eventual domination of the sport was assured.
