Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

Our leader we commemorate

With bounteous feast upon the plate

Literati sing his praise on high

Nobel anthems fill the sky

Exploits bold and brave redound in glory

But this is not our leader’s story

His deeds are stuff of legend and lore

Tales oft repeated, and no more

Truth be told, no hero he

Who fought for our democracy

All is but a fantast’s tale

True heroes lie beyond the pale

Others died to make us free

To pave the way for you and me

To live so well in this fair land

Our lives and fortunes nicely planned

Until the day truth is revealed

And we must our pretenses yield

We all know how the story goes

A child says, “The emperor has no clothes!”

We are here today to commemorate the enfant terrible of the 19th century Baltimore literati, the epic fantast Shemp Horcroft Yarbleman, whose riveting psychedelic portrayals of peyote-addicted ducklings earned him the Marvin K. Mooney Award for Absurdist Fiction some seventy-three years before that award actually came into existence--a bizarre and unlikely aberration in the spacetime continuum which redounds to the morbidly obese novelist's glory to this day.

The commemoration of the fantast ('prophetic genius') redounds to the significance of his work, so far only appreciated by few literati and rare afficionados.
