Marsh was mellow from the scuppernong when she arose to thank “those who took the time to convoke my many complices from near and far” and said she’d forgive the mumpsimus of those who responded, “I’m good” when asked how they were faring, but ended with an admonishment to her younger coworkers that “there could have been an open bar with something stronger to drink, for “after all, pushing fifty is not really being over the hill”.

To all my steamed…err esteemed collies…err colleagues, I should like to make some toast…err to make A toast to our hapless fellow…err complice fellow whom we invoke..err for whom we convoke this darned tasty feast and drink this  delishish eggnog…err superbong…err scuppernong..Hip Hip hooray, and who's making all that fuss about my having mumps..err sinus..err a mumpsimus???
