The restaurant's near-perfect gem├╝tlichkeit, its cozy feel, its friendly air is disturbed only by the chef's tendency toward eructation, a tendency he indulges behind the closed kitchen door and won't admit to--in fact, his reluctance to disbosom the gaseous truth has created a Streisand effect where patrons flock to the establishment simply to hear (and once in a while, to join in) the belching. In the spirit of gemutlichkeit, Shannon decided to ignore Emily Post and join in the eructation contest which had broken out during the class pizza party; however, when the principal dropped by to congratulate her students on their reading accomplishments, she tried to disbosom and explain her behavior as a means of bonding with her students, which had a Streisand effect since Mr. Entwhistle was a stickler for teacher propriety and had not noticed the shenanigans.

All was good manners and gem├╝tlichkeit at the annual SULK (Stiff Upper Lipped Kleptocrats) gala dinner until my neighbor at the table emitted a muffled eructation and immediately disbosomed his identity by shouting "Excuse me!" to the whole gathering, a poorly received interruption akin to the Streisand Effect since I alone had heard his quiet belch.
