Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

The grand doomsday conversazione was to be held at Stonehenge, prime real estate for all things solstitial, on an algid December day marking the solstice, the beginning of another winter, the completion of a Mayan b’ak’tun – and, perhaps, the end of the world.

I'll stay right here on this algid solstice, thank you—I'm not braving the cold to go to some hoity-toity conversazione—and as for solstitial celebration, isn't the day too short for that?

The storm and its algid winds blowing that solstitial evening did not keep the attendees away from the opening of Cindy's new Retro Axiom gallery; everyone in the local arts community had been looking forward to the reception and conversazione in the quaint restored warehouse space, its LEED-certified renovations efficiently and economically keeping them warm and dry on that frigid solstice night.

"Algid Doomsayer, ye frigid honey, Engage in some conversazione, You see apocalypse at the solstice, Men paying for their injustice, But why should Armageddon be solstitial What about December 21st is so especial?" --- Lyrics for the heavy metal song 'Algid Doomsayer'. (by Sami)

How blessed are we on this dark and dankly algid day, at the unique coincidence of the Winter solstice and the 13th b'ak'tun, once again to find succour in such a lop-sided conversazione as is afforded by this our aerial colloquy - so raise a solstitial cup of good cheer!
