Bill and his friends were surprised to find out that their cantankerous neighbor was the conlanger of a language they had tried to learn after hearing it spoken on their favorite series of television shows – the Klingon language from the Star Trek franchise, and their amazement continued to grow as they heard and learned more, for there were no lackluster areas -- from martial arts to space travel, and even the “fine” art of gastronomy, which included traditional Klingon foods and even a special wine.
