Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

The striped pole, the smell of vitalis and barazol, my first haircut, the same lunker of a barber chair, it was too good to be true, all as I remembered; I would get a shave today, the warm towel, the--the same barber, the palsied hands, the long wisps of grey hair shot from out his ears, the superannuated straight razor, rusty and being shakily drawn across the strop; he turned and like a scared rabbit I debarked knowing there would be more tourniquet than styptic in that shave.

I tell you, I could hardly wait to debark from that smelly, superannuated lunker of a ferry when we finally arrived at the port of Mykonos, where I was certain my hotel would have a mirror in the bathroom, and some illumination, enabling me to apply a styptic pencil to the many wounds I had sustained while trying to shave that morning.  (by Gravely)
