"No, I do not want to reiterate the details of this bug in your software again for the third time!" I remonstrated after being repeatedly placed back in the phone queue to listen to some misprogrammed auton suggest every solution from rebooting my computer to buying some other package of their vaporware;  "I want to speak to someone other than you or the last two idiots whose bumbledom was only exceeded by their obvious lack of knowledge of your company's software," to which this tech support analyst promptly responded by connecting me to yet one more of these animalcules, who said in the same calm, patronizing, passive-aggressive voice, "I'm sorry for that inconvenience, sir; now, please, how can I help you today?"

Despite the bumbledom that is state bureaucracy, the highly touted IT project designed to save money by having the public interact with autons, rather than people garnering salaries and benefits, was finally exposed as nothing but vaporware, and the designated scapegoat – the lead software engineer – vanished from his cubicle like an animalcule slipping out of view.

"To avoid litigation over charges of 'vaporware,' we must navigate through Patent Office bumbledom, and have your application for the animalcule auton approved before the marketing campaign ends in August," the Patent Attorney advised, tapping his Montblanc pen on the desk for emphasis. (by mtc)

Gazing at the video monitor in the operating room as a school of nanorobots (autons modeled after the animalcule Escherichia coli) swam rapidly with the flow of  arterial blood toward the diseased region of his brain, Mr. Bumble finally realized that his doctor's advice was more than mere hype, the technology she described was more than mere vaporware, and that--miracle of miracles--he might finally be cured of his chronic OCD.
