Beginning at the terminus, while the worm  was squirming, my stomach's behest  to eat the writhing insect was calmed by an old woman who offered me a Hershey's kiss; at first blush, I didnt know what to say, but now satified beyond repletion, I gave the woman the worm and she proceeded to eat him.

At first blush it appeared to farmers of the Stalingrad collective grain would fill the tower silo to repletion, but as harvest season wore on, it became clear the terminus mark would never be reached, stern behests and apoplectic fits of Commissar Putin, notwithstanding. (by mtc)

At first blush, it made little sense to place the bullet train terminus in the middle of farm land in the Central Valley – unless it was done at the behest of a political crony, but it soon became clear that the Governor enjoyed repletion of both his campaign promises and his gastronomic cravings by taking trips to the end of the line, where a top vegan chef had relocated to take advantage of the locavore trend.
