Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

“OMG!” cried Maude, to Daphne, “your accurate sniping has fair flummoxed that whingeing Priest, Father Finnegan, Old Xeric that he is – you've got him eating out of your hand,” and Daphne hooted, before advising Maude that she was becoming a bit of a Malaprop, for hadn't she meant 'Cleric', rather than 'Xeric'? but “no,” replied her Dear Love, “when he kissed me, cheek to cheek, it was like being sandpapered by a Cactus!” and they both roared with laughter as they staggered down the steps from the Presbytery and fell, full of merriment, and not a little Laphroaig, into the old roadster which awaited them!
