Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

"Did he see us?" Peter Boo asked Unity Mitford: "of course he did," she replied, rather redundantly, for Boo's eyes had locked with Goering's for the brief second it had taken for a chill to ripple down his spine and turn his knees to jelly, but she wasn't waiting; she stepped forward and grabbed the young boy, who Boo now realised was a girl, and pulled her through the doorway, where Roxy draped her in a towel and was rubbing her dry, as Unity slammed the door behind them; she snapped at Peter: "come, be quick, he'll be back, he never leaves witnesses, he'll probably bring some of his Gestapo Goons," and she hustled him along the corridor and indicated that he should 'do his stuff' with the door at the other end, and, not expecting any success, he took hold of the handle and, without hesitation, turned it sharply clockwise – the door opened and he look cautiously through the gap and saw nothing but darkness; meanwhile, Laszlo and Lorre had ushered Roxy, Geli and the girl towards it and within seconds the group had all stepped through and Boo had shut it firmly behind them; it was Lorre who spotted the faint light some distance away and they stumbled towards it, Roxy simultaneously dressing the girl in some clothes she had already found in one of the flimsy wardrobes; they discovered that the dim glaucous light was coming down a stairwell and cautiously followed Peter Lorre upwards, through the atoms of dust which sifted finely in the still air, until he hesitated by another door which stood slightly ajar, barely a crack, which was where he now stood, listening intently to the sound of voices. now heavy with import, as if debating some weighty political or philosophical point, then light with merriment, the sharing of a joke or quip, all of which seeming to indicate a large party in the room beyond. until, appearing to have taken a big decision, he pushed it wide open with the flat of his hand and led them through, into a room where 13 people, all men, were seated at a long table; they had fallen silent and were staring. either at each other, seeking an explanation, or directly, challenging, at the group who had all come through the door and now stared at the man at the centre of the table, thunderstruck!
