Our minds, no longer the tabla rasa for learning, are receptacles brimmed with tweet, and text and Facebook; sources where the subjective and objective are indistinguishable, and truth, macerates under a steady diet of ignorance, anger and alternate facts, and thus polluted, we find ourselves inexorably drawn to the master of the misleading, and, in electing him president, reduce the role of the presidency from pinnacle of democratic tradition to mere parergon to exalted ego.

And while Sir Parlane MacFarlane limped quickly away from the scene of carnage, leaving the stabbed Joanie Johnson with his dirk in her leg, his valet Doubleday helpless with a shattered arm from the FBI Agent's firearm, and the three strangers who had greeted him, in a state of shock, and further along the tunnel followed a man in some sort of uniform into what he saw was a Men's Washroom, where he quickly laid him out with a hard blow to the back of his neck; five minutes later, his leg into which the bullet had entered, passed through and exited, tied with a tourniquet using the other's belt, and now dressed in the uniform of a US Army Five Star General, he limped out, passed a group of armed men who saluted and stood aside to let him pass, and found himself outside the airport with no idea how far he could travel with the contents of the man's wallet, far away, in the Oval Office of the White House, 45th POTUS Donald Duck Trumpet-Trousers, inexorably signing Executive Order after Executive Order, called for a gold receptacle of hot water in which to macerate his aching hand and wrist, and dictated to his secretary, Svetlana, who sat upon his knee, through his interpreter Ingrid, on the other knee, a letter to Miss Theresa May, Prime Minister of Engeland Swings Like a Pendulum Do and, while it was but a parergon to his principal job as Leader of the Free World, poured out his warm thanks for the way she had so willingly submitted to his Superior Being, realising, as he dictated, (what a blessing Google Translate is, allowing Svetlana to Svetlana to type the letter in Serbo-Croat and at the touch of a key, voilà: a sort of English version appeared on-screen) that this was indeed a Match Made in Heaven, so finished with a Proposal she could not refuse, for a Closer Physical Relationship between their two Nations and dashed off another to Her Botanic Majesty QE2 inviting her to attend the Wedding at Trumpington Balmoral Tower where she would have the privilege of watching him play a round of golf with his old mate Phil The Greek and meet the New Star of Reality TV, as featured on Tomorrow's Edition of Who Do You Think You'll Be? which discovers Famous Descendants of Resurrected People in History – Sir Parlane MacFarlane ancestor of Himself, POTUS #45 Donald Duck Trumpet-Trousers and imminently expected in Washington and soon to be appointed US Ambassador to Scotland!
