Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

As Ricardo came around the first corner of his last lap he had the lead but was hit by Vettle, sending him flying off the track: luckily, this wasn't a particularly bosky track so Ricardo didn't hit anything, allowing him to rejoin the race, but Vettle was out-Heroded by Stroll who lightly tapped him, removing a part of his wing - it was on like Donkey Kong and Ricardo was furious; as Ricardo tried to ameliorate his situation by passing Verstapin his engine failed, forcing him to retire. Nothing would ameliorate Theresa's disappointment: on two consecutive days she had produced great sentences, employing wit, humour, irony, empathy, compassion and honesty and on two consecutive days, when she hit Send, her work had disappeared into the ether as the Internet in the Holiday House crashed! she had been on like Donkey Kong, and then found herself alone in the bosky woods jumping at shadows and so wired she felt that she could out-Herod King Herod himself if she ever found out who had logged on to the BBC iplayer and crashed the service! she may be a pacifist but she sure knows where to bury the hatchet!
