Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

Hamish MacDonald (known among the cognoscenti as AKA) was something of a Monday Morning Centre-half, and he rather belatedly pointed out that Martin Elginbrod's white Rolls Royce lacked the fold-down seats behind the driver's compartment which would have provided proper seating for all five men in the group; Dolores Bambona was about to climb in behind the driver when he raised this objection and she felt herself obliged to offer her seat to one of the five, it being certainly wide enough; when Elginbrod suggested that MacDonald and Chick Cowcaddens should sit there and Dolores join himself, Sir Paladin MacFarlane and Doughty Doubleday inside, a squabble broke out, with MacDonald and Cowcaddens expressing their desire to be seated in the rear – no-one wanted to join Jimmy the chauffeur in the closed-off front section; it was Dolores who calmed them down, acknowledging that they each had a good claim to more comfort, pointing out that it would be unseemly for any to sit on the floor among the others' feet, so having elicited a tacit admission that on a warm serotinal day, some objective selection of two members to be seated with the driver, Dolores produced straws – which she always carried – of which she demonstrated three being long and two short, and she invited the members, in alphabetical order, to each draw a straw: Chick drew a long one, D drew short, Hamish got long, Martin's was short and therefore Sir Paladin's long, and the matter of the seating arrangements was settled, Dolores would squeeze into the back with Cowcaddens, AKA and MacFarlane, she bitterly regretted being here at all, but Elginbrod and MacFarlane were her wealthiest clients and as her Old Dad always said, "do whatever it takes to get their money!" (now any of my readers intrigued about the seating arrangements can Google 1947 White Rolls Royce interior and get a ghit: a photograph of the very machine which is still in the possession of the present Martin Elginbrod, QC WS and WC although it now sports the fold down seats MacDonald had argued for) but back to the tale: safely ensconced in the car. Dolores lay, stretched out, with her diminutive form along the thighs of the three back-seat passengers, and found herself being played like a piano, with the hands of Sir Paladin, Chick and Hamish exploring where they could reach and the jaunt began – the official confirmation of the five members of the Glasgow Circle of The Ring of Gold as Uncles to the children living in the residencies which constituted the Milngavie Cluster of The Good Shepherd's Society, a fruitful and beneficial (to them) association in which they definitely looked forward to being 'hands-on' benefactors; and the black cab which followed, always at a discreet distance, but keeping the Rolls in sight, with Bernie Cohen peering past the driver, his friend Manny Silverstein, through the windscreen, occasionally catching sight of blonde hair, or a hand thrust past the heads of the men inside, scrabbling helplessly at the window!
