Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

In order to wake up the #Stepford zombies we have to oppose the #swingeing tax cuts that will run through the middle classes like #wildfire, despite the efforts to #belaud them at every turn.

Ethel was only a Stepford Bird,

Born between Stepney and Deptford,

Which the Swingeing 60s left in a mess,

Belauded by some, but for others distress,

As a wildfire swept what war failed to depress,

And the slums gave way to the Yuppies largesse,

So what chance was there then for a Stepford Bird,

To go on the Game or to study the Word;

Education was only a Dream,

Degrees were only there for the Cream,

But someone somewhere came up with a Scheme,

So the Stepford Bird got to go to East Cheam;

And look what became of the Stepford Bird,

Who admired her Professor as though he were Lord;

His words were honey and she was beguiled,

His eyes were fierce but hid when he smiled,

His thoughts were impure though his manner was mild,

His intentions were lustful towards that sweet child,

And now he has power over the Stepford Bird,

She lies at his Mercy, tied fast with stout cord,

Chains and locks on every wrist,

Straps and ligatures over her chest,

A gag in her mouth, Bulldog Clips on her breast,

It would be nice to imagine a fateful Twist,

That will save the virtue of the Stepford Bird,

But Real Life does not always blunt the Sword!
