Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

Oh to be discumbent at the table of a queen!
To join in the community of greats!
Discovering you're a roland for the company you've seen
Assembling at the palace royal gates!
Then that feeling of disquiet, that nebulous dismay,
When they're handing you your apron and considering your pay.
(by OldRawgabbit)

And ten years before that, well, give or take, maybe it's nine, J Alfred Prufrock and Holly Martins sat in the van converted to a Listening Station and considered what to do about the discumbent Hans Steckrübe, the Gestapo security guard and self-appointed spy on his own Masters; Steckrübe's espionage was not prompted by any kind of nebulous ideology or political dissent, he was no opponent of the National Socialists or Hitler, indeed, he was a beneficiary: he had joined the Party in order to become invisible, for no Party Member was ever likely to be indicted for any but the most heinous of crimes – unless he brought the Party into obvious disrepute, like Röhm and the SA for instance: they had flaunted their homosexuality, had waved it about and behaved without any discretion and, whatever he may may or may not be, Der Fuhrer was a stickler for decorum in a man's public life, a pillar of rectitude, ascetic to an extreme – no smoking, no drinking, no womanising, a vegetarian for God's sake, the man was a candidate for Sainthood according to everything Uncle Hans heard about him, which made it all the more important that his own peccadiloes be kept away from prying eyes and shared only with the secretive and discreet community of fellows who shared his amorous interests; he had never planned for this! to be discovered in flagrante! and by two Americans with the power to have him beheaded just by snapping their fingers - if he were handed over to the Gestapo complete with his van (no, their van!) kitted out with his listening and recording devices and the tapes (the Tapes!) of the Reichsfuhrer-SS himself (Him! of all people) seducing Elisabeth: there would be no possible defence, it would be "Off With His Head!" and he was not ready to die, so he must make a deal, and not with his Masters, he could only try to deal with these two Americans, even if that would make him a traitor to the Fatherland - ach, he did not give a roland for the Fatherland, his only interest was in his own survival, well that and the chance to continue with his interests, after all there was Frau Butterbaum in the apartment below his, she was a young widow with a young daughter, a delightful child whose innocence had already won Steckrübe's heart, it would be a shame if he lost the opportunity of wooing her through her mother - but not Major Martins, he had already shown himself capable of unwarranted spite and brutality and had also mentioned him in the same sentence as Peter Kürten (Kürten! of all people!) no, Major Martins was unsympathetic, had no understanding of the purity of his, Uncle Hans Steckrübe's love, such a vile person as Martins lacked the capacity to empathise with him. it would have to be the other, Major Prufrock, but should it be grovelling, or Man to Man?
