Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

Meanwhile, in Melrose, this afternoon, the Very Reverend Angus MacAngus sat at his desk and stared at the screen, reading the homily on abnegation he had connived to deliver on Sunday and it made him realise that he was a Hypocrite, like the hatamoto who agrees with everything his shogun says because that is his role – not to advise or counsel anything that differs from his master's opinion even if he knows in his secret heart that the shogun is wrong; and he remembered the quotation from Oscar Wilde: "I can resist anything except temptation," and that it summed him up so well: the only things he gave up for Lent were things he didn't like or enjoy; "oh, Angus," he whispered, "what became of your Ideals, your Faith? where did it all go wrong?"
