Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?

Attempts to resolve the Quandary:

"If a Proclaimer, though be he hailed by many as a Prophet, the Messiah, the Stupor Mundi, Saviour of the World, can in years of wandering and preaching and performing - pretty good, it has to be acknowledged - tricks, magic, sorcery, even miracles, call it as you will, if he can only gather to himself a dozen rag-tag followers and some dubious camp-followers, and fails to garnish himself with any form of bounty, having not a shekel to his name, then he is a hapless fool and his pathetic followers are but dupes," say the High Heid Yins - as the Sanhedrin are more commonly called on the streets of Ye Olde Jerusalaam - to the Roman Governor - not technically a Roman, it's true, but having managed to wangle the Contract from the Emperor in Rome, in return for the promise of a seat on the first flight to Cardiff for the Very First Rugby World Cup which the Ponty Pilot is promoting to help finance the repairs needed before his only plane will be given a licence to fly by the Imperial Tobacco and Commercial Licensing Department of Rome - being men of sufficient experience, theological knowledge and nous to know that in the Real World, as opposed to the Deserts of Galilee - which is somewhere far, far to the Distant South where none of them would have dreamt of visiting, even on a charabanc round-trip run by the Pilot as another of his PFI schemes to raise the cash he desperately needs - at the end of the day, the bottom line is, that only money counts and Profit comes before Prophet, you can't have one without the other, and for him to have kicked the Bankers out of the Temple despite the fact that they were all properly and legally licensed by us and that it's only their sponsorship of the Temple that's paying for the essential maintenance currently underway and the plans for next month's, hopefully, sell-out concert by Lucky Sejanus and his Praetorian Guards!"
