Quandary Resolutions by Janet McConnaughey

  • #1066 submitted 04/11/2010: apricate, frivolous, bravado, dishabille

Should I apricate, en dishabille, My frivolous bask would reveal That bravado had led To an ankle-to-head Tattoo of limp watches (surreal).

  • #966 submitted 03/21/2010: midinette, armigerous, obfuscate, fatidic

Like those of the Sybil or Nostradamus, the fatidic apothegms of Madam L'Oeilduniverse were couched in such terms as served to obfuscate: it would not be until the last scion of the last surviving armigerous family already had been identified that the prophecy would be seen to have foretold the noble lady's position as a lingerie midinette, folding, displaying and ringing up bits of lacy froth in a store in the shadow of L'Arc de Triomphe.
