The All-American, perfectly-proportioned, vivacious, lissotrichous, young and pretty college cheerleader topped off the half-time ceremonies, releasing a dozen doves from the dovecot on the quickly-erected stage in mid-field, while the school band played a dulcet, nearly patriotic-sounding song that roused the fans like some canticle to the heros of their undefeated team.
