Quandary Resolution 1014
realpolitik, pepo, chevron, popinjay
Celebrity chef Klaus Klausman is a perfect popinjay, vain, talkative, lacking culinary knowledge, but compensating with a mastery of realpolitik, an instinct for negotiating, ascending ranks, and accumulating chevrons: qualities that have have earned him publishing deals even as he offers insufficient products, like his recent soufflé recipe that ludicrously calls for 35 pepos (does he mean pumpkins, squashes, or cucumbers?), a word up whose definition he's probably never looked.
