Quandary Resolution 1015
realpolitik, pepo, chevron, popinjay
Though Pepo, my local guide of the Amazon, apparently named after the fruit that he used to love as a child so much he even ate its hard rind, was a popinjay who talked constantly about his hair and kept his chevron upper body deliberately exposed as he rowed, his knowledge of the realpolitik of the basin and of the nations that share it was surprisingly accurate.
