Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 1046
obdurate, infelicitous, eloquent, megrim
Eloquently espousing the virtues of automation, the slick salesman Dr. Nigiri persuaded me to make what I now realize was a very infelicitous purchase: I spent twenty grand on this terrible sushi robot “X324,” which was supposed to empower any novice to set up a profitable Japanese restaurant sans chef, but it turns out to be an obdurate beast, which will not prepare a proper California Roll despite repeated pleas, and worse, it is prone to megrims during which it moans, trembles, and spits out globs of punctured, oozing salmon roe (Sujiko).
