Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 1082
bayonet, asterism, vulnerable, bloviate
Sidney Blunt, founder and CEO of Blunt Chemical Co., turned out to have peculiar and unsettling taste in office decor, like camp chairs made out of what certainly looked like femurs, half a dozen framed snapshots of the Port Arthur Massacre, and an asterism of bayonets (arranged points outward!) over the sideboard, so while she huffed and puffed and bloviated on the subject of employee tardiness, I was distracted worrying about whether I might actually be vulnerable to ending up as an ashtray or a wastebasket or part of a coffee table if she got too worked up.
