Quandary Resolution 1111
vanity fair, roriferous, frowsy, scapegrace
Observing the guest of honor towards the end of the Oscar night after party (a typical vanity fair overcrowded with guests all jostling to be noticed by TV crews and trendy bloggers), Mrs. Faust remarked that Miss Blanchett was unbecomingly wild and rowdy, "a regular scapegrace", whose 4AM frowsiness - the result of 36 hours without sleep and too much time posing under hot lights - had emphatically not been ameliorated by the roriferous night air, the dampness having caused her dress to sag alarmingly.
