Quandary Resolution 1134
verjuice, gargoyle, hale, perforce
Behind the small Ganesha temple at the end of the village, Govinda, an orphan, grew up hale and hearty, drinking the milk that poured out of the gargoyle after the puja every morning, and the daily handsel of broken unripe grapes with their verjuice collecting at the bottom of the bowl, which the devotees offered him perforce to bring themselves some good karma.
