Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 1158
callithump, crenellation, clement, pellucid
The racket from the post-wedding callithump, involving three hundred guests, six open bars, and the greater part of the inventory of Big Bob's House o' Noisemakers, could be heard a mile away where we were sitting outside in the heretofore clement and pellucid spring air, now rendered as unsparing and clogged as that on Roosevelt Boulevard at rush hour on a rainy Monday (albeit minus the crenellation of stop streets, one every hundred yards for ten miles).
