Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 1194
imbricate, bogus, nosocomial, vamoose
Once upon a time, in a faraway country, there lived a colony of nosocomial imbricated boguses, which appeared to casual passers-by to be a patch of tightly furled blue flowers growing underneath the window of the hospital pharmacy (the very one, incidentally, from which they had first escaped), which is exactly what a cluster of boguses looks like until you poke them with a stick or try to uproot them and, then, honey, you'd better vamoose, or next anyone sees of you will be a still-warm pile of bleached bones.
