So intoxicated were they by their own godless wit after an hour's hilariously eristic debate on 'state-assisted deicide', the two undergrads began to vellicate uncontrollably, soon thrashing around on the floor, spluttering incoherently, which being interpreted by a nosey proctor's bulldog as demonic possession prompted the immediate summoning of the college chaplain to administer a rigorous exorcism.
