Garden of Eden, turncoat, mirage, afterclap
’Oooh, you are awful,’ simpered Eve, glad-eyeing the emergent serpent, ’but I do like you,’ and as she succumbed to wily temptation little did she know that the Garden of Eden would so soon appear but a shimmering mirage, when she and her helpmeet closed from without the sorrowing gate, two stitchless turncoats as yet deaf to the resounding afterclap of transgression.
