Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 1246
Ockham's razor, doge, embezzle, majuscule
In the canal in front of the Doge's palace, we found floating a scrap of paper with "blk bags, 1.3mil" written on it in untidy majuscules, which prompted us to consider briefly that this might be a reference to the amount of money Tyrone had embezzled from the magistrate's office, but in the end - applying the principle of Ockham's razor - we decided it was only what it looked like at first glance, namely, a reminder to buy heavyweight black plastic trash bags.
