When the President (a.k.a. chief embezzler) of the Canine Psychoanalytic Association was vacationing in Venice with cash from CPA coffers, he was asked to take the case of a certain misbehaving chihuahua, a lowercase dog with a majuscule bark, who had come to consider itself the doge -- civil, military and ecclesiastical leader of the city -- or so read the therapist's eventual diagnosis, positing the existence of a previously unknown condition, doggie doge-mania, in a clear violation of Ockham's Razor.
