Quandary Resolution 1260
Achilles' heel, kinematic, bully pulpit, plucky
The plucky physicist used his professorship as a bully pulpit for promoting his first love -- modern interpretive dance -- and he would often pause in the middle of a lecture on kinematics, boldly gesticulating from the podium as if enacting a kinematic composition by Mark Morris or Paul Taylor, later returning to the syllabus with renewed urgency, hoping that the equations on the blackboard might prepare his class of budding biophysicists to someday design an artificial tendon, a cure for his own weak heel: the Achilles' heel that had cut short his dancing career.
