Quadrivial Quandary: Logophiles, Rejoice! Each day we give you four unusual words. Can you fit them all in one illustrative sentence?
Quandary Resolution 1344
congeries, nostrum, delegate, noctivagant
Mom would delegate the night-watch to the last of us to turn in, and if it was you, you'd have to stay awake, listening for grandma to begin her noctivagant trip around the house, groping in the dark, dragging her feet on the floor, and disturbing dad's sleep, until you, the watchman, arrived with her misplaced bag of congeries: betel leaves, areca nuts, a few gold coins (grandpa's earnings), and the Tulsi-based nostrum she had prescribed herself 'for her forgetfulness.'
